Munshi Taiabur Rahmanshi Sangstha (MTRS) is a national non-profit organizations, founded in 2014 with a mission to promote human rights and devote for socio-economic development of the underprivileged, marginalized and hard-to-reach people. Since the inception, the organization has implemented various projects and programs for Humanitarian Response, Community Development, Skills Training, Renewable Energy, and more.
To get better and decent job opportunity all men and women, in particular the unemployed youth, MTRS has conducted Skills Training program. Other activities includes market survey, designing marketable skills training curriculum and Job Placement Support. MTRS is also outreach Vocational Training Centre based in Mirpur-10, Dhaka. It has also running a permanent center at Muksudpur, Gopalgonj.
To end discrimination against women improve their quality of life, MTRS under its volunteers Group Development Program(VGD) enhances the productive income generating opportunities of VGD card holders(women)through providing life skill training on various income generating activities as well as on Nutrition, Primary Health, Human Rights, Reproductive Health, Gender, Environment issues etc. MTRS also creates credit provision and other support services for volunteers women to empower them socially and economically and converts them into productive resources. Other program includes Early Childhood Care and Development, Non Formal Education, Nutrition, Water and Sanitation, volunteers Group Development (VGD), Food Security, Rehabilitation of Disabled people, Adaptation to Climate Change and Disaster Management.
